Dresses That Didn’t Make The Cut

Ji-Hye went dress shopping over the weekend. I told her to stay within the budget, because, you know, it’s really important to stay within budget. I knew of a tree that produced leaves that looked just like hundred dollar bills, but unfortunately that tree does not grow in our backyard. So the only other alternative is to stay within budget.

On the first day of the weekend, Ji-Hye went to a boutique and fell in love with this one dress, but it was somewhat over budget even after some “negotiating.” But she really loved it. Fortunately for us the rational side kicked in and she resisted from impulse buying and opted for a second opinion from a friend the next day.

On the second day, she went with her friend, Janice, to go look at some more dresses. She ended up with another dress, that was within budget, and even better than the other one. Of course, I have no idea what the real dress looks like, because Ji-Hye wants to surprise me on that day. But here are the ones that didn’t make it. Good thing, because if she did get it, and I saw her walking down the aisle that day, I might’ve given her my classic “what in the world is that?” look.

Just kidding. Seriously.
