We're Married. Now.
We're married. It took us 100 short days, but we managed to pull it off. Now begins the real adventure of living life together.

A Night To Remember

We have finally found a place where we hope everyone will have a night to remember. It is the Hyatt at Olive8. It is Seattle’s first LEED certified hotel, “boasting a wide array of innovative energy and water saving features.” It even has a habitable “living roof”. When we visited the site, Tera, the catering manager, was gracious enough to give us a tour of the hotel and showcase a few details that make this hotel a truly green experience for everyone.

I noticed CFL bulbs, water conserving showerheads, and room keys that double as light access so that when taken out, all the lights are turned off as you leave the room. We really enjoyed the modern decor, as well as the spacious foyers to make our guests feel comfortable.

We hope everyone will enjoy it immensely as our reception site. We are also in the midst of negotiating rates for our guests so that not only will it be comfortable and sustainable, but convenient as well.
